We fell in love with the Georgia coast... the Golden
Isles. Spent several trips looking at property along the marshes and rivers
before deciding to settle farther south where its warmer. Pearce's grandparents
had a summer cottage in Shellman Bluff, near Darien, Georgia, where he joined a
passel of cousins long ago swimming
and crabbing. He did this painting near Sapelo Island. It's "Comin' Home" (20" x

When the sun went down and the moon came up, he painted "Midnight in Georgia"
