Monday, September 2, 2002 -- Labor Day
It's a sunny, hot, mid-western day; a holiday... the river is full of
speedboats, we have a car and St. Louis is a half-hour away! We're tourists
again.
The Labor Day Parade is in full swing downtown, traffic is almost non-existent
and the no parking signs are being ignored by all. A great time to see the
famous Gateway Arch...
AND the famous St. Louis Zoo! We rode around in a train...
met some Hippopotami and a couple of friendly Elephants by a waterfall.
A great day in a great city...
